:: Local Volunteer Opportunities ::

Here are some year round volunteer opportunities with some of our local non-profit partners. Our Care Network staff is available to help you if you would like more information about any of the organizations or opportunities below.

Aggieland Pregnacy Outreach

Providing support for those in unplanned pregnancies. Promoting adoption as a loving alternative. Pointing them to Jesus Christ. In addition, it has an outreach for teen moms called Mama Club. A volunteer with APO can: bring a meal for Mama Club, volunteer in our Mama Club nursery, and can organize a board book drive for our teen moms and babies.

Twin City Mission

Twin City Missions has many ways to volunteer. You can serve meals in the community cafe, help organize the closet, or help answer phones and assist with client paperwork.

Salvation Army

Salvation Army has a wide variety of opportunities to volunteer throughout the year. CLICK HERE for more information.

BCS Together

The Closet is stocked with an assortment of immediate needs like diapers, toys, clothing, and car seats. The Closet is for any family who has been touched by the child welfare system, including foster, adoptive, kinship, and CPS-referred biological families. The closet also has kid friendly opportunities as well.

Care Portal

CarePortal exists to help vulnerable children and families. Requests submitted through CarePortal come from caseworkers at government child welfare agencies or other child-serving organizations approved by CarePortal to vet needs. Churches can also identify and submit needs within their own church and community through the Church Entered Needs feature.

Unbound

Unbound BCS has many volunteer opportunities, with all different skill and time requirements. Find more information here

Unlimited Potential

HOPE Gathering

HOPE Gathering desires to come alongside hurting widows bringing comfort, encouragement, community, hope, and purpose.  HOPE Gathering does this through local community involvement, monthly HOPE, GRACE, and JOY Group gatherings, an annual Evening of HOPE, a Weekend of HOPE retreat, and through the distribution of HOPE Boxes.
