From the moment she was born, Megan’s mother made sure she knew God’s love and always challenged her to show it to others. Leading by example, her mother showed her the power of unconditional love, understanding and forgiveness, which in turn inspired Megan to do the same.
Once a volunteer in youth ministry, Megan – even as a child herself – always knew she would one day serve the youth. What she didn’t know, however, was her yet-undiscovered passion for graphic design, a gift she uncovered later in life.
Megan has now joined the Brazos Fellowship staff full-time with the youth ministry and lends her graphic design talents to the creative team, with both ministries challenging and motivating her.
And although she’d likely not want to openly claim any favorites among her youths, one could safely assume she may reserve the biggest piece of her heart for Cooper, her son with husband Jake.
“God does not leave prayers unanswered, sometimes the answer is no.”
